Caitlin Casiello
Caitlin watches a lot of movies and cartoons. She also enjoys TV shows and comic books. She doesn't understand video games but she doesn't let this weakness hold her back from pretending she does. She is a Ph.D. student at Yale University in the Combined Program in East Asian Languages & Literatures and Film & Media Studies. Her interests include gender, communities of reception, activist filmmaking, and sex and sexuality (different things!) in media.
She is red-green colorblind (slightly) and apologizes for any color-related faux pas.
Magpie City
Named after the city Cittàgazze from The Subtle Knife by Philip Pullman. Created as a general compendium of my thoughts and labors, miscellaneous, stolen, shiny, garbage, academic, non-academic, visual or textual.
